Jewel Thompson is author of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor: The Development of His Compositional Style and contributor to the International Dictionary of Black Composers. In addition, she is a composer and arranger of works for solo voice, mixed chorus, men's voices, and women's voices which have been published by MORNING STAR MUSIC PUBLISHERS, Fenton, Missouri, and GIA PUBLICATIONS, Chicago, Illinois. An organist, choirmaster, and Minister of Music, Professor Thompson performs in these capacities weekly and in frequent guest appearances throughout the Metropolitan Area.
